SILVERWOOD QUALITY BAKEWARE

Silverwood Cake Tins are manufactured in the UK. All the bakeware is pressed from sheets of aluminium alloy into the appropriate shape. By hand, the raw edges are then either trimmed or smoothed to ensure that they are not rough or sharp.
The products are then immersed in an electrochemical tank and an electric current passed through each product, which acts as the "anode"in the process. The surface of the products undergoes a permanent change where the molecules of aluminium in the surface layer change to an "anodic oxide film", hence the name "anodised aluminium"
